  2008 Summer Hair Trends. Bayalage – Hand Painted Highlights.
The trend in hair styles for summer 2008 is “the less styled the better.”  This is great news for those who have some natural wave or curl or naturally sleek, smooth locks, but the rest of us will have to work at it.  This less-style summer look not only applies to the way we fix our hair, it means no bold, chunky highlights and definitely no more pink and purple streaks from the spring.

Kicking-off spring the Kevin Charles Team partnered with Valentino on April, 24th at the Nasher Sculpture Center.  The Kevin Charles Salon was very flattered to provide the hair sponsorship to Valentino’s 2008 Fall Seasonal Private Conclave Event with Neiman Marcus.  With no time to rest Kevin Charles and the Kevin Charles Team were off to coif Hollywood’s celebrity guests for the 15th Annual Race to Erase MS themed “We Heart to Erase MS,” on Friday, May 2, 2008.

Co-Chairs Nancy Davis and Tommy Hilfiger once again welcome celebrity friends including Forest and Keisha Whitaker, Natalie Cole, Sharon Osbourne, Ray Romano, Teri Garr, Rachel Hunter, Harry Hamlin and Daisy Fuentes.  The event, which was held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Beverly Hills, California, was highlighted by an exclusive celebrity fashion show featuring the Spring 2008

The celebrity fashion show started in high gear with the professional dancers from Dancing with the Stars.  Tommy’s celebrity friends that helped to model his designs included Samantha Harris, Shannon Elizabeth, Aly & AJ, Tara Reid, Lisa Rinna, Cherly Ladd and many more!  Other celebrities taking the stage or supporting the event included Tom Arnold, Paris & Nicky Hilton, Dr. Phil to name a few, and musical performances by legendary recording artists Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons.
