Rounding up the end of 2007, Kevin Charles and the Kevin Charles team coifed hair for the Jamie Pressly Fashion Show, Abi Ferrin and Malan Breton Fashion Show in Dallas, the Nina Ricci fashion show in Beverly Hills, followed by the Diane Von Furstenberg fashion show at the Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara, California..

  The Jamie Pressly Collection was presented in Dallas for the first time on Saturday, October 20th at One Arts Plaza. Emmy-Award winner Jaime Pressly launched her spring/summer 2008 J’aime Collection with a fashion show that benefited the Sunflower Children Fund. Taking the runway was International super model Helena Hudova who strutted key pieces from the collection. As an event sponsor Kevin and his team worked exclusively together to transform each model and added their finishing touches to the J’aime Collection.  
     
 
Next, Kevin teamed up with stylists from the Santa Barbara salon and stylists from the Dallas salon who all hopped on a plane and flew to Beverly Hills and then onto San Francisco

  to participate in the Couture Cares: A Benefit for Breast Cancer, and coifed hair for the spring/summer 2008 Nina Ricci Collection.  
     
  Designer Olivier Theyskens re-staged his spring runway show as an outdoor event which was hosted at Kelly Wearstler’s home in Beverly Hills. This show marked the first time Theyskens’ staged a fashion show in its entirety outside of Paris, France. The event sparked a celebrity turnout with Crystal Lourd, Rebecca De Mornay, Kathy Hilton, Beau Garrett, Amber Valletta, Vanessa Getty, Lori Loughlin and many more.  
     
  In conjunction with the Beverly Hills show the Kevin Charles Team was also on hand for the show at Neiman Marcus in San Francisco. Continuing to display their creative talents the team was honored to participate in a benefit for the Dream Foundation which hosted the exciting new season of must-have pieces designed by Diane Von Furstenberg at the beautiful oceanside Bacara Resort & Spa located in Santa Barbara, California. While part of the team enjoyed the west coast the Dallas team ventured to South Side on Lamar for the Diffa/Dallas Style Council Ambassadors event with a runway show by Dallas fashion designer Abi Ferrin and Malan Breton from Project Runway.

  Kicking off 2008 Kevin Charles and his team have kept busy participating in events such as the Bradley Bayou fashion and trunk show held at Heidi Dillion’s house to benefit The Fashionistas. Bayou has gained widespread recognition in the fashion world as the past creative director for Halston. Now as designer of his own eponymous line of couture clothes, with celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Eva Longoria, Halle Berry and Beyonce Knowles can be seen wearing on the red carpet.  
     
 
Following the excitement of a red carpet designer it was another year and another Academy Award ceremony for the Oscar styling veteran Kevin Charles. While he was in Beverly Hills for the ceremony Kevin coifed his personal celebrity clients while his team was busy styling hair for celebrities such as Paris Hilton for her stop in Dallas to promote the launch of her new film The Hottie and the Nottie, and Chelsea Clinton who joined her mother during her Dallas campaign stop.

  For the second year in a row the Kevin Charles Salon is proud to have participated in Fresh Faces of Fashion. This fund-raising event is presented by Stanley Korshak and Modern Luxury Dallas magazine with a fashion show and dinner, which benefited the Suicide and Crisis Center. The 12 Fresh Faces of Fashion are Dallas women who were nominated and selected by the magazine’s readers for their style. The Kevin Charles Salon is all about showing diversity and excitement to the Fashionistas of Dallas. “I love Dallas,” says Kevin, “The men and women have so much style. That’s why I take my team on the road coast to coast pushing the envelope of fashion. It’s all about staying current, and seeing what’s out there. We owe it to our clients. That’s what makes the Kevin Charles Salon different from other salons in Dallas.”
